Getting to Murrayfield Stadium
There are several events taking place at Murrayfield Stadium over the summer. Please plan your journey in advance as transport to and from the stadium, and the surrounding streets, get very busy.
We recommend travelling by public transport or walking to Murrayfield.
Walking
If you are up for a walk, it is a lovely stroll from the city centre to Murrayfield through some of our beautiful streets. It will take you around 45 minutes to get to Scottish Gas Murrayfield from the city centre. Haymarket train station is just a 20 minute walk from the stadium.
Please remember you will be passing through streets where people live. Please respect their homes. Use litter bins. Wait until you get to the stadium to use the toilets.
Bus
Many buses pass by (or close to ) Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Check or with the bus companies including
Tram
are running in both directions between 乐播传媒 Airport and Shandwick Place, with a stop at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
The trams stop at Murrayfield stadium or you can also hop off at Balgreen stop and walk a little further to get to the west side of the stadium. Make sure you buy your tickets before boarding from

Train
Waverley Station is in the middle of the city centre, while Haymarket Station is at the west end, closer to the stadium. You can easily walk to the stadium from Haymarket (around 20 minutes) or you can take the tram or bus from the station. You can .
Car
There is no public parking at Scottish Gas Murrayfield and Princes Street is partially closed to all traffic. There will be road closures and parking restrictions before and for about 90 minutes after the concert. You are best to use the Park and Ride facilities located around the outskirts of Edinburgh. From these facilities, you can hop on a bus or tram to get to the city centre or the stadium.
